Andre Cold Duck Champagne

I figured that I would start off the reviews and ratings part of this blog with the worst of them all.

Andre first producing sparkling wine in 1966 and has since become America's #1 selling brand. The reason is for the price ranging from $4 to $5 and not the taste. Cold Duck is supposed to be a sweet grape fravored sparkling wine that lacks in bubbles and flavor. This is not something that you would want to drink too much of, or any at all. I will give them that it is sweet, very sweet.

If you are looking to spend the night with a glass of Cold Duck, serve well chilled. The drink goes best with dessert or finger food, it is much too sweet to drink with your dinner.

In my opinion, if you are looking for an inexpensive sparkling wine, spend a couple dollars more per bottle and go for Cooks Spumante or Balletore for a sweet and tasty alternative.
